Here is the step-by-step guide on how to use,
Google Keyword planner is free. But before using Google keyword Planner you only need to setup a Google account.
Once you're done with account, navigate to Google Ads, click "Start Now" and select your Google account to "Sign In".
Then, click on the blue link that says “Switch to Expert Mode.” This way, you can create an account without creating an ad campaign.
Next ,click the small “Create an account without a campaign” link.
Also, select your billing country, time zone, and currency. And click “Submit.”
Once you reach the confirmation page, click “Explore your account.”
Reach the menu bar, click on “Tools and settings” > “Keyword Planner” under the “Planning” column.
This is where you’ll find keywords.
Select Discover new keywords, you’ll see two options: Start with keywords and Start with a website.
Start with Keywords
To find keywords enter up to 10 keywords/phrases related to your business. Click Get Results.
Start With a Website
If you want to Start with a website option, Enter a URL and see keyword suggestions based on that page. Clikc Get Results.
Keyword Planner also generates related ideas that don't contain the terms or phrases you entered
Use this option if you already have a list of keywords. You can view various metrics for multiple keywords at once, along with search volumes, which indicate the average number of times a keyword is searched each month.
Here is how to do it.
Return to the keyword Planner main screen and
Click Get search volume and forecasts.
Enter or paste a list of keywords into the search box, add one keyword per line, or add them in a single line separated by commas and click Get Started.
Otherwise, Click “Discover new keywords”. This will give you the information about the keywords you entered. No related ideas.
Now Click "forecast" on the left side bar.
Google keyword planner will forecast the total number of conversions, clicks and impressions, and for the keywords you entered.
Pro Tip: You can also return to the “Keyword ideas” page and add keywords from there.
The report is useful in running ads.
